ACTIVITIES
CLUB 170
Club 170 operates each Sunday from 5 pm to 6 pm providing hot and cold food and drink for homeless people and rough sleepers. Volunteer cooks, sandwich makers and servers make up the team on a rota basis and food is provided by generous donations from the congregation and others. The Organisers are Mrs. Betty Roberts and Mrs Isobel Haddow
SUMMER MISSION
Since 1994, members of the congregation, young and not so young, have formed a Summer Mission Team taking God’s Word to the young people of Creetown on the Solway coast. Working closely with the local congregation, the Team has built up long lasting friendships with many young people over the years. In 2007, the Team carried out a Mission in Maidens, South Ayrshire. The Team Leader is Miss Lynn Flower.

CONGREGATIONAL SUPPORT The congregation supports the following charities on a regular basis Christian Aid The Lodging House Mission Church House The Leprosy Mission Christian Solidarity Worldwide The Well and also responds generously to other appeals as required.

SUPPORT GROUP The Support Group for Torture Victims is affiliated to Christian Solidarity Worldwide and meets quarterly to hear news of persecuted Christians in all parts of the world, to pray for them and to write letters to them and to their persecutors and to others in positions of authority |
TRANSPORT Transport to and from church services and other events is organised by Mr. Gordon Irvine.
