Club 170
Club 170 operates each Sunday from 5 pm to 6 pm providing hot and cold food and drink for homeless people and rough sleepers. Volunteer cooks, sandwich makers and servers make up the team on a rota basis and food is provided by generous donations from the congregation and others. The Organisers are Mrs. Betty Roberts and Mrs Isobel Haddow
Testimonies
I go to Club 170 every Sunday because you get a good cup of soup a roll and so much more.
But I do not always want everything because I just go to Club 170 to see the staff.
If you need to talk you would find someone at Club 170 who is willing to give you time and listen to you.
I go because you can’t beat Club 170.

I have been attending Queen’s Park Church Club 170 for the homeless, drug addicts and alcoholics
for sometime now. I really enjoy the food and the tea and coffee, but I also get to talk to
the minister about my life and troubles. I get help from the church and the staff are always
happy to help me.
Testimony by. D
When I first attended Club 170 I did not know that I would find friends.
I was alone and was told about Club 170 by a homeless friend. I have been going there for
about six months now. I get fed and as much tea as I can drink, the fancy cakes are good as well.
The church helps me with stuff and David will give me time to meet with him.
He also meets me during the week to help get my benefits sorted out and helps with others thing to.
I also enjoy the bible talk before the meal.

Summer Mission
Since 1994, members of the congregation, young and not so young, have formed a Summer Mission Team taking God's Word to the young people of Creetown on the Solway coast. Working closely with the local congregation, the Team has built up long lasting friendships with many young people over the years. In 2007 and 2011, the Team carried out missions in Maidens, South Ayrshire. The Team Leader is Miss Lynn Flower.
