BUILDINGS  AND  HALLS

The current church premises date from 1867.  The outer shell, sanctuary and halls have been altered and extended over the years to form the current configuration.

Stained glass is a feature throughout the sanctuary.  In addition, adjacent to the church front door are two stained glass windows commemorating the life of Jane Haining, a former member, who died a Christian martyr at the hands of the Nazis in Auschwitz in July 1994.

RENOVATIONS

A comprehensive renovation of roofs and exterior walls was carried out during the 1990s.  This work        costing nearly £1m was carried out with the help of Historic Scotland, Glasgow City Council and the   generous giving and support of members of the congregation.

2006 saw the completion of phase 1 of internal renovations where the former sanctuary was split                    horizontally giving a new bright sanctuary on the upper level and meeting rooms and offices on the lower level for congregation and      community use.  Phase 2 of these internal renovations, the planning and fundraising for which has already started,  will include a  new kitchen
